I'm in London!

Camera man is here for work and I decided to meet up with him and extended our trip for a few more days.

Today is his last day in the office, so I am taking advantage and doing the things he probably wouldn't want to do.... like take a barre class at Equinox.

Whenever I am in a different city/country I love taking classes and getting inspired! I took a barre class at Equinox called "Ultimate Barre". I was expecting the teacher to have an English accent and was surprised when she sounded just like me. I introduced myself before class and soon found out she is from CA and just doing a barre training here for the week. One of the classes she is introducing to London is Ultimate Barre.

Nicole (the teacher and national Equinox barre director) was great! Class started in the middle of the room using a resistance band. We did some second position plies and side lunging. I was sweating in no time. Most of the class took place at the barre. We utilized the bands and barre at the same time. It is more common for barre classes to isolate working either the arms or the legs, but in Ultimate Barre we were able to work both at the same time! No weights were used and I didn't even miss it. We used a squishy ball for glute work, abs and inner thighs! Total body burner! Maybe this class will come to Boston?

Beautiful barre and yoga studio!

After class I hung out in their lounge. They have a full menu that includes juices, smoothies, grab and go, breakfast and lunch. This is what Boston Equinox needs!

The lounge was comfortable and pretty busy for a Friday midday!  I could have (and almost did) spent all day there.

Make and pack your own dressing with the FoodSaver® Vacuum Sealing System

Disclosure: This post was sponsored by the FoodSaver® Brand through their partnership with POPSUGAR Select. While I was compensated to write a post about the FoodSaver® Vacuum Sealer System, all opinions are my own.

I was recently sent the FoodSaver® V4865 2-In-1 Vacuum Sealing System to play around with and review.  I have always wanted a vacuum system, but never really jumped on it. I pictured it sitting in my house and not getting much use. But after using the FoodSaver® Vacuum Sealing System I knew I was wrong! I was actually super excited and found myself looking through my kitchen to see what I could seal and preserve!

The FoodSaver® Vacuum looks very nice with its stainless steel design. I think it is beautiful enough to have on your counter.

I read the directions that were attached under the lid of the FoodSaver® Vacuum Sealing System, watched some YouTube videos, and after a couple minutes of playing around with the sealing system I was almost a pro!

As I was searching my kitchen for things I could seal I opened my fridge and saw pineapple in regular freezer bags and bananas with plastic wrap. Both had freezer burn.

I regularly use frozen bananas and pineapple in my smoothies. The best natural sugars! I them both with the FoodSaver® Sealing System. It was a very satisfying feeling knowing that the food I was sealing would not only last longer and taste better- but would take up less space and indirectly make me more organized! The FoodSaver® Bags are also BPA free!

The one thing I always tell my clients is to make their own salad dressing. It is more cost effective, tastes better, and is a great way to avoid all of the chemicals and preservatives in store bought dressings.

I made my own dressing, froze it in ice cube trays, popped them out and sealed them using the FoodSaver® Vacuum Sealing System! Now the dressings are already portioned sized off, and easy to take with me on the days I bring a salad to eat between classes! SO EASY! You can make a huge batch and store it in the fridge. I am super excited about this. Total time saver.

Do you have a FoodSaver® Vacuum Sealing System? How do you use it?

I am excited to explore more vacuum sealing options!!

Shoes I am obsessing over right now: Sky Scapes by Reebok. Light. So comfortable. And you can throw them in the wash! I want to get them in every color. GET THEM! They are one sale here!

4. I should have taken a photo. Yesterday I halved about 1.5 cups of cherry tomatoes. On top I added fresh minced garlic, EVOO, salt, pepper and a bit of honey. Mixed it all together and baked for about 30 minutes at 375. After cooked I threw this all in a blender added more EVOO and herb de Provence. Blended just a little leaving some chunks. I ate it with pita chips but I can see it tasting delicious over a crostini.

5. My friend started a blog: Jet Setting With Jess. She writes awesome stuff about travel.  I go to her for all my travel questions and advice. Follower her. She is a travel wizard.
