Hi Lauren! I’m not even sure how i found you but very happy that i did. I’m 46 in early menopause due to hysto 3 years ago. I’ve always been skinny and suddenly I have curves that are mushy. I’ve always been athletic, hiker, dancer, etc…now, I have to work extra hard to notice any kind of change. I will try your videos…this menopause made me gain 17 pounds. I would love to be at 110, now at 115. I’m 5’2….so hopefully, you can see where i’m coming from….sorry for all the info. I just want to feel healthy and fit again. xoxo

Hi Lauren, I started exercising again after about a two year absence. I noticed my feet seem to tire before “I” do. I’ve never had this problem before even when I did ballet years ago. Do you have any plans for stretching or strengthening videos, especially the arches?

    Thanks!
    Betty

Hi Betty! I have had a lot of people ask me questions about feet lately. I am no expert but will do a little research and see what I come up with. Maybe you just need to do some point flex exercises? We used to do those in dance.

Wow, thanks for responding so quickly! That’s a great idea. Most of the information I find is for cramping, which is not really the problem. Strengthening is what comes to mind. Hope it’s not just age catching up with me. :(

        Keep up the great work!

I love your videos, especially the arms! I had found a new one recently that you did but can no longer find it or maybe I just can’t remember where i saw it :-/ It was a “sequel” to your best arm workout and you had recommended the Lifehouse song.

Hey Jenny! I still have the video but unfortunately I had to change the song :) YouTube has strict regulations and I can not use music if I do not have the rights to it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZzQjgyl5_0c let me know if this is the one!

    Great workouts.
What is the name of the song that plays during the video above?
Thanks, looking forward to reaching my goals in 2013 with your help.

Thanks so much for your videos, I am really enjoying them. Would love to see more barre workouts, longer in length if possible, and the standing ab workout is amazing! Hits me right where I need it :-)

Hey Lauren! I just recently stumbled upon one of your videos on Pinterest and was instantly obsessed! I love being active but get bored and distracted really easily while working out. Your videos are excellent because they are short but effective and you make them fun because you look like you are having fun too! I’m getting married next June and am planning on doing a video or two a day. I just need to tone up a little. PS more exercises for butt and outer thighs would be phenom!!

Thank you for the note Jacki!!! I love when new people discover my workouts and blog. Keep up with the workouts, and thank you for inspiring me! AND congratz for your wedding in JUNE!!!!! so exciting! :) I will do a butt and outter thigh workout soon! XO

    Hi Lauren,
I was wondering if you have any suggestions for an ab workout involving an exercise ball? I am a waitress and often my back is stressed from being on my feet all day–I find some days it feels better to do some ab work on the ball, but I don’t know if I’m working or targeting the same muscles, or how I could improve this.
    Love your videos!
    Can’t wait for more!

    • lhefez May 3, 2013 at 7:48 am #

Hey! I can understand being on your feet all day can take a toll on your body. Workouts on the ball can be great! Just make sure you do not use momentum and really pull from your abs and not your neck. Try this video :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cOv2TDLv8wU Maybe I should do a ball video!

Hi! Thank you for your blog and great workouts! My wedding is in 4 months and would like you suggestion about what and how long of a work should I do each day…my focus is on arms and abs. I find I keep doing random videos of yours and not sure if I should have more of a routine..?..thanks!
